Shipping Information

At this time, Sassafras Paper ships only within the United States.  Processing time is listed for each product and varies according to vendor. Products may be typeset, printed, and shipped from the different vendors or from Sassafras Paper in North Carolina, depending on the products you select.  Packages ship by FedEx, UPS ground or US Priority mail depending on the vendor.

You will receive an email confirmation when your order has shipped.  Sometimes, an order with multiple products may arrive in different shipments.

Some shipping providers do not ship to P.O. Boxes.  Please provide a physical shipping address.

We are happy to offer FREE local delivery/pick-up within the Winston-Salem area.  Please contact us to verify that this option is available to your address.

Proofing, Errors and Returns 

For all of our personalized products, we offer customers the option of a proof to verify that the information is correct and is exactly how it should be printed.  Some of our vendors charge a fee for proofs.  All stationery, invitations, announcements and holiday cards printed in-house offer complimentary proofs.  Each product has specific information about proofing and whether or not there is a charge.  If you have any question about how something might look printed, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the proofs available. 

When an order is submitted, we proofread the submission for spelling, grammar, wording and etiquette.  If a complimentary proof has been offered with the product, or if you have purchased a proof for a product that does not offer a complimentary one, you will receive it by email usually within 2 business days of your order.  It is important to carefully review proofs, paying special attention to things like the spelling of proper names, locations, and the specifics of your event.  Please contact us immediately if you have a change to the proof.   

Once a proof is approved (or the offer of a proof has been waived), the product will be in process for personalization.  At this point, the order cannot be changed or cancelled.  If your order contains any errors or mistakes caused by Sassafras Paper or one of our vendors, your order will be reprinted and shipped at no cost to you.  In the case of customer error (omissions, typos, etc.), we will work with you to correct the mistake and reprint your order at a discount.

Products not personalized can be returned within 30 days of the original order with a full refund.  (Shipping fees are not reimbursable.)  All sales final on sale/clearance items.
